Consultation Packages:
1. BASIC STORY COVERAGE — $150 USD
This entry-level service is ideal for writers seeking a quick yet insightful assessment. You’ll receive a ratings gridand 1–2 pages of story development notes, providing a concise overview of your script’s strengths, areas for improvement, and producibility. This coverage also includes insight into your script’s prospects within the current market.
2. IN-DEPTH STORY NOTES — $250 USD (with additional Zoom meeting add-on + $50)
For a more comprehensive approach, this package includes 7–10 pages of detailed notes and an annotated script, with comments to help you see your story from an outsider’s perspective. I also offer an optional 40-minute Zoom call to discuss your screenplay, your objectives, and how to position yourself strategically in the industry. This service offers a deep dive into story structure, character development, pacing, and thematic resonance, aimed at elevating your script to competition and market-ready standards.
3. SCRIPT PUNCH-UP & GHOST WRITING — Variable Price depending on project needs
This service is ideal for writers who are further along in the development process and want to enhance specific elements within their script. Through focused rewrites, I build upon your ideas to strengthen and improve the screenplay. You’ll receive updated drafts with clear indications of where and how adjustments have been made, allowing you to track the progress. I’ve provided this service to top industry talents, including Hugh Dillon, co-creator of the hit TV series Mayor of Kingstown, where I was contracted to elevate his first feature-length screenplay, Low Life Kings.
Industry Experience
As both a writer and producer on the feature film Hunting Matthew Nichols, which has screened at several renowned international film festivals, I bring a unique perspective to screenplay consulting.
My experience spans both story development and the practical demands of producing a feature film, giving me the dual ability to analyze scripts creatively and strategically. This blend of a strong creative vision and an in-depth analytical approach makes my consulting process truly distinctive. Helping emerging writers reach their full potential and achieve their dreams is something I’m genuinely passionate about.
My consulting background includes several years as a story analyst for renowned screenplay competitions and development organizations, including Film Independent’s Short Scripts, the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, and Scription. I’ve read and assessed thousands of scripts, providing detailed feedback, coverage notes, and synopses to help writers achieve concrete development goals.
It’s important to note that my consulting work is tailored toward emerging writers aiming to get their first script optioned and produced. If you’re seeking feedback geared toward positioning your script directly within a studio system, my services may not be the best fit; however, my work is ideal for writers focused on breaking into the industry with a strong, marketable script.
